Our roots
Without a past, there would be no present. And without the present, there will be no future. Veenman Drukkers is deeply rooted in the Dutch graphics industry, roots reaching as far as 105 years ago.
Mr. Veenman and his sons
In 1903 H. Veenman and his sons established a company, H. Veenman & Sons. They started by printing cigar bands, but it didn’t take long until their presses were also printing books for the Agricultural University. After the war, Veenman expanded to a renowned printer employing about 200 people. In the eighties the family Veenman sold the company and the name changed to Veenman Drukkers.
Bert van Lente and Drukzaken
Drukzaken was established in 2001 by Bert van Lente in Rotterdam. Despite the economic recession, the company finds a way to conquer its own spot on the market in only a brief period of time.
Together we can achieve more
Veenman and Drukzaken come together in 2003. Drukzaken takes over Veenman Drukkers. Out of respect for the company’s rich history and good reputation, the name Veenman Drukkers is kept.
The hotshot from Rotterdam and the grand old dame from Wageningen turned out to get along really well. Better still: the combination of guts and bravery with experience and reputation is an excellent one. Together we can achieve more.
